Our Story

Premium Comfort was established by its original founders (the Van Steinburg family) in 1997 in Kelowna, BC. The founders were entrepreneurs at heart and over the years assembled a team with a tremendous amount of experience, trades skill and technical expertise and laid the foundation for its future, of being an honest, reputable company that provides great customer service, from top to bottom. Along the way, the company continued to expand its Residential home service, repair, replacement, installation, and new home construction as well as expanded its Commercial service, maintenance and construction and expanded its sheet metal ductwork fabrication.
In 2020, with the original founders looking to retire, Premium Comfort was purchased by Secord & Family, a long-standing Canadian and local B.C. family with ties to Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley. Entrepreneurs at heart, the new owners bring extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate, property management, construction and customer service. Presently Premium Comfort has grown to upwards of 40 employees, a fleet of over 20+ trucks and vans, and operates out of two warehouse facilities in Kelowna, B.C. Today, the company is vertically integrated and provides a one-stop shop for plumbing, gas, heating and air conditioning services and manufactures all of its sheet metal parts and supplies in-house ensuring the highest level of quality control and project timeliness for both residential and commercial projects.
Premium Comfort carries many suppliers and dealers, and most notably Premium Comfort is a “Premier Dealer” for Lennox ® products. Lennox ® is the longest running and largest HVAC equipment supply company in North America and their sole focus and specialty is on HVAC. We also sell and install a large variety of plumbing, Navien on demand water heaters, hot water tanks and fixtures, furnaces, boilers, air conditioners (central & mini-split), fireplaces and Kinetico water treatment & filtration products. We also provide all types of gas fitting and sheet metal repairs and installations.

Our furnace, air conditioner and heat pump equipment and parts are backed by one of the best manufacturer warranties. We also offer Lennox extended warranty plans up to 10 years, and a 1 year labour warranty on our work.
At Premium Comfort we are also authorized to do warranty work on most other brands such as Carrier, Trane, Goodman, York, Amana, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu and other brands of furnaces or air conditioners (certain conditions apply).
